Barbara Kate

Barbara Kate is a producer and screenwriter based in Buenos Aires. She is pursuing a BA in Film at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA), specializing in Screenwriting. In 2023, she co-founded Medio Cuerpo Cine. She wrote and directed the short film ek • stasis (2025), selected for the 30th edition of the Zaragoza Film Festival. She produced The Culminating Point (2025) and BUTTONS UP, currently in post-production. She works at Brava Cine, where she is involved in the development and production of fiction and documentary feature films and series.
